What I wore: H! by Henry Holland

It's funny.  If you asked me to describe my style I'd say dresses all the way, but looking back through my outfit posts I'm realising that I'm far more into separates at the moment. I'm wearing skinny jeans with t-shirts a lot, and then in the warmer weather just switching out the jeans for a skirt belted at the waist.

This skirt was a brilliant find in the sales last year, I think it ended up costing me about a tenner and it's so lovely to wear.  I really love Henry Holland's line for Debenhams (even though it's quite clearly designed for much younger women!), and I like how the ditsy floral print and button front on this skirt looks vintage.  I only realised after the photos were taken that it needs a good iron, sorry about that!

  1. I like this outfit & H! range. I need an clothes/fashion blogger to dress me and say: Yes! That looks good for your colouring and shape, wear it gal! I'm not great at branching out and knowing what suits.

    1. Oh gosh, I think I'm only now figuring out what suits me at the grand old age of 35. And even then I make lots of mistakes, but I sort of don't care so much anymore.

  2. It's a great skirt - love the buttons! Tees and skirts are definitely my go to uniform at the mo. I'm planning on making some more skirts for the summer :)

    1. I've only ever made one skirt and it wasn't a roaring success. I'm very into finding skirts in charity shops at the moment, so I have a huge pile on my sewing table waiting to be taken up or otherwise altered, but that's about as creative as I'll get with my sewing machine.

  3. What a nice outfit! I'm not familiar with the brand (or the store, for that matter) but it looks really nice. It's a cute little print, I love printed skirts!

  5. I like the Henry Holland range too! I have a really cute t-shirt from there with a dinosaur on haha. I do not care that I am nearly 26 and still wearing dinosaurs. Whatever. You look lovely in this outfit :) I'm all for ditsy florals!
